This is a compilation that was released in 2001 to make available to fans all the tracks that were on previously very difficult to find albums, most notably the tracks from 1989's Psykisk Testbild which at the time you could only get on a very rare vinyl that sold for around $500. Now these tracks are all easily found elsewhere as the albums have all be re-released. |

This may not be their overall best album technically speaking, but it was certainly the one that put them on the map. Future Breed Machine is their "Enter Sandman", the song that really skyrocketed their popularity and put them on the map. |

The original version of this CD has been out of print for many years, but it is available on the compilation "Contradictions Collapse & None" which as the name suggests contains both of those old EPs on one disc with the exception of the track Aztec Two-Step. As of 2014, None by itself is now also available on remastered vinyl, so now you can get a hard copy of this song if you like. |

The infamous self titled original Meshuggah demo released in 1989 unofficially known as Psykisk Testbild was only released in small shops in Sweden in 1989 so the original release is very very expensive and hard to come by, usually selling for at least $500 USD. In 2001 the tracks were reissued on the "Rare Trax" EP, and then in 2014 the original EP itself was remastered and re-released to the masses with artwork almost as cool as the original. This original art is so trippy it really fucks with your eyes, it's like a visual warning of the upcoming 30 years of audio assault we were going to get from this band! This is also the only Meshuggah release on which Tomas Haake does not appear, as he joined right after it's release. |
