This CD may not have sold as many copies as Infest, but it's still damned solid. My favorite tracks are M-80, Life Is A Bullet, Walking Thru Barbed Wire, and Decompression Period.
† This track is not on this CD; It actually appears on the "She Loves Me Not" single, but this was the most convenient place for me to put the lyrics.

This is the Major Label debut of Papa Roach, the guys from Vacaville (Not from Sacramento) finally hit the big time. You can really tell the difference in sound quality on this record, it's much more solid. Best tracks on this CD are Broken Home, Between Angels & Insects, Blood Brothers, and Never Enough.

Of the "early" releases, this is the closest sounding to the current P-Roach sound. Most of these songs have now been re-released on newer Major-Label releases.
Regarding the art (Or lack of it), since many copies of this release were bought and sold at shows semi-unofficially, some copies of this disc were released in a clear jewel case with no art whatsoever (Presumably because they ran out of cards or something and just started selling the discs in plain jewel cases). Some copies did have a simple art card in the front, but mine didn't come with one when I bought it at an early show at The Crest Theatre in Sacramento in 1999.

This one can only be described as a classic. It's kind of the base or mold from which Papa Roach built their "Legacy" (No pun intended) Best tracks on this CD are Revenge In...ah hell, every track on this CD is my favorite.

This is the first full-length album from Papa Roach. The sound is raw and a lot different than the newer stuff, but more so like it than the 2 very early cassettes. Best tracks on this CD are Orange Drive Palms, Liquid Diet, DIRTYcutFREAK, and PEEWAGON.
This album was remastered and reissued in 2005 as a limited edition free gift to those who signed up for the now defunct "P-Roach Riot!" fan club. I've seen someone say only the first 2000 copies were autographed, but I've never seen one that wasn't. There might not have been more than 2000 members, in which case the point is moot. On the reissue, Thanx and Happy Birthday are omitted, Grrbrr isn't listed on the back cover but is on the disc, and Tight Rope (Rock Version) is included as a hidden track.

This is the least known of Papa Roach's releases...most people leave it out of discographies not knowing it exists. It's become kind of the holy grail of Papa Roach collecting. I heard in 2000 from someone who worked with the band then that Papa Roach themselves no longer had a copy, I'm not sure if that's still true as they could have found one in the years since then. As far as I know, I own the last sealed unopened copy. For that reason, if it's true that the band no longer has a good copy, I'd love to loan them mine to reproduce since it's never been played. If/when I can confirm that the band doesn't need it, I'll open mine and make better digital copies of the tracks than the lossy copies I currently have.
Contrary to popular reports, it is not "a blue cassette"; those reports started because the image here is of the copy that I own and no one else has ever posted an image online, so from the image the cassette appears blue. What you can't see, however, is the portion the cardboard slip case covers, which is actually transluscent gray. Only the "face" of the tape is colored blue, but thats the only part visible in the image. If someone tells you it's "a blue tape", they probably don't own an original.
Anyway, this cassette (No CD, just like Potatoes) only has 2 tracks, both demos from the then upcoming CD release Old Friends From Young Years. Track 1 is not a typo, it was spelled differently on this tape.

This is the VERY first release from Papa Roach..the sound on this album is SO much different than all the records, I would not recommend listening to it until you've heard all the others. At this point in their lives it seems Papa Roach was trying to be like Mr. Bungle.
There is a CD release out there, but it was made and released against the band's wishes after the band had gained notoriety, and the band gets nothing for it, so as they do not wish for people to buy it, I'm not linking to it here.
