| The sound on this CD like The Art Of Balance but harder. If you liked Balance, grab this one. My favorite tracks are The Light That Blinds, What Drives The Weak, and Ghosts Of Past Failures fact that when I informed Brian Fair of this, he agreed and said he kept one of these boxes for himself :) They are limited edition; mine is #292 of 1000 made, and yeah, they sold out long ago. Try eBay... |

7. Mystery Of One Spirit (5:10) |
|
| If you haven't heard Shadows Fall
yet, go get this CD right now! They are a hard yet melodic metal band that
will fucking blow your mind. This is probably the best CD of 2002 and easily one of my favorite CDs of all time. It's one of very few discs that I can just pop in, hit "repeat all" and listen to over and over. Best tracks are "Thoughts Without Words", "Destroyer Of Senses", "The Art Of Balance", and "A Fire In Babylon" |

1. Pain Glass Vision (0:48) |
6. Root Bound Apollo (6:19) |
|
| This is the Shadows Fall disc
most of us heard first, and the one that gained them their huge following. Best tracks on this disc are "Crushing Belial", "Of One Blood", and "Revel In My Loss" |

1. Revel In My Loss (5:48) |
6. Fleshold (3:44) |
|
| This is their first disc, released
on Lifeless records before they were signed to Century Media. They had
a different vocalist back then, so the vocals are quite different, but that awesome lead guitar is still the same. Check out the original version of "Revel In My Loss" (Track 1) |
