Another quality release from everyone's favorite Armenian metal band. Not quite as good as Mezmerize, but definitely still worth picking up. So far my favorite tracks are Attack, Kill Rock N Roll, Holy Mountains, and Vicinity Of Obscenity. |

This is System Of A Down's best and most original disc. BYOB is a political song, but the music is so good I love it anyway. "Cocaine" is so bizarre it makes it more entertaining, Violent Pornography is great for singing along with in public (read the lyrics you'll know what I mean). The only weak track IMO is Lost In Hollywood. |

Supposedly, this CD was released because a bad quality copy was leaked out to the public over the Internet. System Of A Down didn't like that, so they decided to release this CD with better quality copies they felt better reflected their music. The idea was so people would listen to this CD instead of the "leaked" one. Hence the title of the album :) Anyway, this is a great disc and I salute whoever leaked it, otherwise who knows how long we would have had to wait for these tracks! |

Toxicity proves they are still as original as when they started, and have proved the are also an incredible live band. The bonus tracks with the * next to them at the end are only available on international limited editions, and I think are some of the best tracks on the disc. (Damn foreigners always get the best CDs!) |

Here's what I know about these tracks: The Metro is from the "Not Another Teen Movie" Soundtrack. Temper I believe is a demo from before System Of a Down were signed. Storaged is from the "Sugar EP" released after their self titled album. Streamline is from the "Scorpion King" Soundtrack. Snowblind is a Black Sabbath cover from the "Nativity In Black II" tribute CD. Marmalade is from the "Strangleland" soundtrack. Johnny was released as a single in 2001. As for the rest, they are mostly unreleased tracks that were leaked, which led to the release of Steal This Album. |
