This is one of the most anticipated albums in the history of rock/metal music, and it lives up to the hype. It was/is so popular, that every copy of it made has been sold, the entire album is out of print (for now), which is pretty unusual for an album that's only been out for about 4 months as I write this.
7empest has even won a grammy, and when is the last time an over 15 minute metal song won a grammy? That's how good this is.

The most "epic" sounding of Tool's albums, and the most bizarre I think. Vicarious is the only "radio worthy" song on this disc, but not the only one - my favorites other than Vicarious, which is classic Tool, are Rosetta Stoned and Right In Two.
The art for this disc is really fantasic. A pair of glasses is built into the case allowing you to view 16 images in stereoscopic 3D. It's really amazing, and I've scanned all of the images. Obviously they can't be scanned in 3D but check em out anyway!
